Keep calm, it’s just Rachel!
Wordy: The Missing Episode Right After “On My Way”
(Because of my frustration from the last 3 episodes since Glee came back from the hiatus, I am writing one of my own. In my head, this is how it went.)
Rachel is blaming herself for what happened to Quinn. After all, she was the one to whom Quinn was responding to when she got hit by a truck. Her guilt has driven her to resolve the damage, so she stays in touch with Quinn. She visits her at the hospital. She assists in her therapy. She checks on her everyday with her progress. She does her best to cheer Quinn up, because seriously, Quinn is worried for what this all means for her plans, and her future in general.
Yes, Quinn isn’t all that okay that she can’t walk. She got into Yale. Coach Sylvester acceded to her request to be back on the Cheerios. Now this. How will she pursue these plans if she’s stuck in a wheelchair? She’s experiencing both physical and emotional pain. She has a lot of questions. Just when she’s starting to get her life back on track, she meets an accident. “Why me? Why now?”, she asks.
